Frnge's Cirrus Earrings are inspired by the cloud of the same name, a genus of atmospheric cloud generally characterized by thin, wispy strands. These earrings hang on 24k gold vermeil threaders, making their length adjustable - pull them through more for short, pull less for a longer drop. They’re made with beautiful irregularly shaped freshwater pearls and twisted gold fringe. The shape of the pearls dictate the shape of the earring as a whole, thus every earring is one of a kind.

When you shop at Victoire, you're supporting designers like Julie-Anne, the Vancouver-based maker behind FRNGE. Dakelh and Metis on her mother's side, Julie-Anne wasn't able to engage with the culture when she was growing up, as her mother was adopted into a non-indigenous family. She first learned how to bead from her Indigenous school counsellor in grade 3 and would spend countless lunch hours with her doing this. She didn't realize it then but it was so special to have someone like her give little pieces of her culture so that Julie-Anne could reconnect with hers. Most of her work is beaded using traditional and contemporary styles, and she uses it both to connect with her roots as well as to try to bring something new to the world.
